The Univers can be booked though needahotel.com but their website can be a bit of a pain. An easier way to access their booking service is via the Ryanair website. (You don't need to be a Ryanair customer):

(Note that the pull-down list of destinations has all the Ryanair destinations first. Reims appears in the second alphabetical list, towards the bottom of the menu).
I've just put some sample data in. A 3-night booking for 2 people, commencing on Friday 12 May costs a total of 249. (Equivalent to 41.50 per person, per night). Prices include breakfast. (Hot buffet style).
Hoping this helps,
Chris

There's lots of inexpensive hotels in Reims, including Ibis which is next to the station, 64 per room per night see http://www.accorhotels.com/accorhotels/fichehotel/gb/ibi /1422/fiche_hotel.shtmlHoliday Inn Express etc.
I'd say that the rail station is in the centre. From that leads a wide pedestrianised street with many many restuarants, at the other end is the cathedral - 10/15 minute stroll?
Also within walking distance from there is the Mumm & Taittinger Champagne cellars, both well worth a visit.
We stayed in the Novotel in Reims which is located on the outskirts of the town just off the motorway.
It was an excellent hotel with a very good menu. Will certainly stop there again.
We have stopped in Reims several time for lunch and there certainly appear to be plenty of hotels in and around the town. I'm sure you will enjoy your visit.
