I went on the Legend Nov 2003 through the Panama Canal. Not one of the biggest ships, but big enough! Excellent crew (as on most cruise ships). I believe a climbing wall has been added since we were on (actually they took on the parts in Aruba and stopped us using the golf course for 3 days!). The main restaurant has nearly all glass walls, so you have at good view at dinner. Not as many balcony cabins as later ships, but we were quite happy with our window. See if the guy from the Isle of Wight is still in charge of the gym! Overall a really good/excellant ship. Have fun.

sailing from southampton the sea can be a bit choppy. Would rather fly out to a destination and board a ship.
