Wehave booked a cruise round the med in sept on the Island Star. As anyone done this would like hear their views as this is our 1st cruise we are early sixtys

I would politely suggest that this is a 3* cruise experience and perhaps next time you should look to book Royal Caribbean, or NCL for a more 'upmarket' experience, as these lines have far newer ships with far more amenities on board.
