Am off to Victoria falls in May, and am staying on the Zambian side. However, friends from Zimbabwe who i work with tell me the view is better from their side. Is it easy to cross the border to see that side while you're over there?

Yes, the Zim view is better. I've done the crossing from the Zim side in the past; it involved a bit of queueing at the border crossing on the bridge both ways but nothing excessive. Of course things may have changed as Mugabe goes to war against Britain, so others may be able to give you more up-to-date advice. The best craft establishments were the ones near the border on the Zam side, though - very much classier than the Zim tat.

Thanks for your input. I did buy a tourist guide to Zambia, but that didn't seem to have much information in it
I lived in Zimbabwe for a few years and visited Victoria Falls often. On one occasion I crossed the border into Zambia and my impression was that the view was more spectacular on the Zambian side.
