Travelmate

I am hoping to go on a gap year but don't want to go on my own. Was wondering if anyone knew of any websites where you can find a travelmate?

Yes i was in exactly the same position last year. Thorn Tree Forums are the place! I half-heartedly put a post up on there around Feb last year and was hoping to have left the country by April! Anyway, so about 2 weeks after i put it up i received an email from a girl same age as me, same idea of where to go, and even stranger - headed to the SAME university as me the coming September. So we met up about 3 times before leaving, and then spent 4 months travelling through S.E.A together & she's now one of my best mates. Even weirder is that her bestfriend ended up living right next door to me in halls once we were at uni - it was almost as if we were supposed to meet! Good Luck!!
