November city breaks
Hi everyone, I am thinking of going for a long weekend city break in Europe in November, and was hoping for suggestions of somewhere good to go that has some nice restaurants, and some sightseeing too.

Not too touristy, still mild/warm in November, fantastic food, too many things to do and see in a weekend, and a fantastic buzz. It's the most energetic/lively/soulful place I've ever visited, even by Italian standards, and yet there are areas of tranquility too. Oh, and as cheap as you like!

Prague is beautiful, however as previously mentioned 'the beer is cheap' unfortunately like all popular cities this is no longer the case! you really have to move away from the touristy areas to get cheap drink and food.
Despite this we had a wonderful time, great resturants and walking the lanes was so romantic. We went on the pedlo's on the river and had a boat trip. They also have horse and cart rides through the city x
Wherever you go have a wonderful time

How about Vienna, city of dreams, Strauss, theatres(English Theatre), architecture, and plenty of history.
Restaurants of all cultures and tastes. From the middle of November you can probably visit the Christmas Market.
Careful with the punch, though! English website is worth a look. www.aboutvienna.org.
