Help me please. Its my boyfriends birthday this week, but i don't want to be predictable and get him a present in the shape of an aftershave bottle or a new shirt or anything like that. I want to be different and make it special. Has anyone got any ideas? He will be 21. Thank you

It depends how much money you have to spend on him. For my boyfriends 21st, I surprised him with a trip away. I'd booked us into a gorgeous hotel in Stratford Upon Avon for 2 nights and we had a wonderful time. The only deal was that he drove cos I couldn't back then!!
Other things I have bought him are signed stuff from his heros (who I won't name!!) which he has adored more than anything. Good luck at finding something!!
Put 21 scratchcards in his card (not as his main present, obviously but it's just a nice little touch if he wins 50).
go onto Ebay and look under sport for whatever is your b/f fav thing.I managed to get my b/f a Man United shirt signed by the whole squad - he was chuffed to bits!!
Dress up as a sexy nures or french maid and it won't cost that much and he'll remember forever and love you more lol
how about an "adventure" type gift? a parachute jump/white water raffting/bungee jump...that sort of thing.I once had a flying lesson for a present and it was fantastic(took it in blackpool so it was a day at the seaside as well)All depends on the money as these things arnt cheap but it is a 21st so a little bit special.
one year i purchased a formula 1,2, or 3 (can't remember which one!!) driving day at brands Hatch for my husband- then i put together several postcards wiv 'clues' written on them and gave him them throughout the day - i deliberately misled him (I mean wiv the gift!!!) and he was convinced he was getting a games console....it was great fun thinkin up the clues tho'.....
I recently asked my hubby what his sexist dream was and reinacted it for his birthday, don't ask what it was please I won't be telling.... needless to say he really enjoyed his present.
It's my boyfriens birthday this month too and I can't think of a present for him either. My friend came up with a fab idea of a kind of "treasure hunt" and I kind of added to it...

Anyways, we live in the midlands and he has never been for a night out in Birmingham tho he says he wants to, so I have booked us in for a night at a psh hotel. I am also booking a table at a swanky restaurant. On his birthday I will give him lots of envelopes one inside the other with instructions on. My boyfriend can't drive yet which is actually quite nice because it means he will have to get a few buses so he won't know where he's going.

Basically I will be waiting at the hotel (dressed up for him) champagne on ice, candles etc.
He will have to follow the instruction on the first envelope e.g. get the number X bus to... Then when he's done that, open the envelope and do the next instruction until he makes it to the hotel room, knocks on the door and..... I will also pay for a drunken night out for us.

Don't know if it sounds way over the top but I know I would love it if someone did that for me :-)
