I want to travel between work and home on the train and bus. Instead of buying a travel card, do oyster have an Oyster card that allows you to use these services?? apparently there is something call a travelcard oyster.

Their website does not explain it correctly, and their customer services dont speak a word of english

looks pretty straighforward, you can use Oyster on any tfl service, and some national rail services as well.
Yes-the oyster card is the same card you use on the trains and buses.
You can put a long term (7 days plus) travelcard on Oyster and use it on National rail and tfl services.

You can't pay for (most) national rail services on a PAYG Oyster.
you cant use Oyster on the overland trains from London Bridge to Plumstead etc as I live here and they said you cant its odd there is no Oyster at plumstead but you can use Oyster as my friend does when she stays with me to get into the overland train at London Bridge so not sure I also got stopped at Lewisham when I got out there and was told Oyster not valid
