I trust you're going for the diving?

It is remote (120km north f the Sudanee border) and pretty basic...right down to tented encampments on the beach if you like. There was nothing in Marsa Alam town when I went about 2 years ago, it is shanty town really. So everything will revolve around where you are staying.

The diving is however world class, amazing coral... lots of big stuff... but perhaps less so in mid-winter...
