Vertical Lines on screen

The upper half of my laptop screen is showing thin red lines about 1/10th inch apart and ditto thin blue lines. How to get rid of them please?

You have a loose connection on the side of the wiring to screen. Did you drop it? If yes, take out the hard drive and tap it on the floor - not to hard. If this doesn't work, you have a damaged plug from your mother board/graphics card. Good luck! The first one worked for me.
