The best value for money are the hotel buffets, eat as much as u like breakfast around $12 with tax, lunch$14 & dinner from $16 at the popular hotels .i.e Luxor, Tropicana[ a bit cheaper] Excalibur also Circus Circus give good value for money. Downtown Vegas is cheaper but the selection isnt as good. I f you eat breakfast buffet u will be okay till dinner time.
Shows vary as in England on the seating, we saw Mamma Mia for $40 dollars each [ 3 people] and when we got in the theatre the "greeter & seater" guy asked did we want better seats for a tip, we gave $20 dollars between us and got the best seats in th house.
If you want to see Celone or Sir Reg from Pinner expect to pay $100, but if you get the Whats On magazine on arrival there is lots you can see for free or if you buy 1 drink for entrance.Downtown shows are cheaper too.
Nightclubs, try New York NewYork hotel where the bar girls take turn in dancing on the bar, always a queue outside to get in, looks wild.
Whole free day out is to Loughlin, free coach ride [via the vitamin factory] and they give you vouchers so you get a good free buffet lunch too.Loughlin has casinos, a nice river and river trips and a good retail shopping outlet, but it takes up your whole day, leave at 9am return about 7pm
If you are trying to "do" Vegas on a shoestring budget it could be tricky.
