Flying from USA to UK
After a gall bladder operation how long must it be left before the person who has had the op can safely fly? Ticket is booked for June, fmy riend will have her operation in late February, so will she be fit to fly over for her June holiday?

Just to confuse matters, in a very small percentage of cases, if the surgeon can't visualise what he needs to see, keyhole surgery may have to be converted to open surgery. If op is uneventful, she should be o.k., but any surgery carries a small risk.
