holiday with kids

Im looking fora cheap holiday abroad just me and the kids (2) as hubby cant get the time off. I have looked everywhere but it's so expensive. Want to go on 31 march or 1st april, any ideas? My kids are 13 and 10

Your problem is that most holidays are based on 2 adults sharing or 2 adults + children. Therefore you may be charged as 2 adults + 1 child.

You may find it difficult to get a cheap holiday for only 1 adult but 2 children.

I think your best bet in this case would be to put yourself in the hands of a good travel agent and let them find the best deal for you.

The other problem, I have just realised , is that it is Easter Week - one of the most expensive weeks of the year!!!!
You need to be able to travel around the 26th March at least to get reasonable prices - or 10th April!!

Try Jet 2 Holidays. They have just started doing Hols as well as flights and they look fairly cheap. They are going to Tenerife now

For some reason I put an answer on here yesterday and it hasnt appeared. Thanks for the advise. I managed to get a weeks holiday in Spain for 3 of us for �540 including in- flight meals, transfers and half board so I didnt think that was too bad. Have looked to see what the weahter will be like and says it usually rains at the end of March and beginning of April. Might just have to take back the sun cream I just brought then haha
