pomos cyprus

does anyone know this place,or been there on holiday ?
thinking of going there in august for 2 weeks
looks a bit remote
are there many restaurants/bars in pomos ?

Hi we have never stayed in Pomos but driven through and stopped for drinks a number of times. It is remote, most villas are on the coast road and I don't remember seeing that many bars or restaurants but if you had a car there are loads in nearby Polis or Latsi.The guide books say that it is mainly well off Cypriots who holiday here rather than tourists from abroad.The good thing about Pomos is that it is unspoilt by high rise hptels, the beaches are secluded and quiet but there doesn,t appear to be a lot of amenities from what I can remember

its right out in the wild and if you like peace and quiet.then its the place to go,but really there is not much to do there,you will need a car to get anywhere.
