is drink driving classed as a criminal conv and if so could this stop me getting a us visa for 2 mnths as i have a placement for camp america but dont know how this will affect getting my visa?

you dont need a visa for 2 months,under the visa waiver programme,you can stay for 90 days.

...but you do need a visa if you've even been arrested, even of not subsequently convicted. I don't know though how the US authorities would know if you've been arrested, I mean do we communicate all arrests to the US?? So in reality you'd probably get away with the VWP if you have not actually been convicted. If you have been convicted then It's the visa app circus at grosvenor square for you !
