Travelling for singles

I desperately want to go on holiday this year, April if poss, just for a week but all my mates have partners.

Although i've heard that travelling on your own is an amazing experience, I only want to go somewhere quick, cheap and easy in the med, not somewhere like the far east, where a lot of single travellers go.

Does anyone know of any websites where i can find potential 'travel partners'? I know they exist, especially for back-packing, but wondered if there was anything similar for short-haul.

Remember that I don't wish to travel on my own....

Awwwwwwwwww, are you serious? I really would, plus, most of my mates are 25 - 34 anyway so age wouldn't matter.

I know you only want to go somewhere cheap in Europe for this trip but I see on myspace that you want to go to Nepal sometime. Check out this trip with the Travel Collection for the future. I did it as a single about 5 years ago, with them, and it was fantastic - met some really great people who I've stayed friends with, flew over Everest in a small plane etc etc

filthies, I think I denied you before I realised who you were but when I tried to do a search for 'split personality' only one profile came up in the UK and that was for a young chap with a guitar and absolutely nothing to say for himself... soif that's you, I can't tell what you're like as you haven't written anything!!!!!!!
