One of the Men...

Hi - just a question...My boyfriend has been working abroad since March. We met in Jan so hadn't been together a great amount of time..Prior to him going we had been getting on really well and having a good time. He was only intially meant to be going for 3 weeks. The 1st 3 weeks were fine, he rang me everyday, said i missed you, all that...Then at the end of the 2nd week he told me he had to stay until Aug, work commitments etc...He said it wasnt fair on me, he really liked me etc..I said look im fine with it, i really like you etc..He said to me if i meet someone to tell him etc... I said i had no interest in meeting anyone else...Did he say that to give him licence to meet someone and have a play around? After that i completely chilled out, have busied myself massively..I said then to him that i never expect him to ring everyday..We speak once or twice a week, he always rings me, i never ring him (Is that the best way?) Does he seem interested still? It was his birthday last week, i sent a card, nothing mushy and rang him...He told me on Monday that he's back on 15th June for a month to sort his visa out etc..If he didnt want to see me would he have told me the date or not mentioned it? I really like him a lot but don't want to freak him out and appear stressy. Am i taking the right approach? Any comments are greatly appreciated! Sorry it's so long but im trying to be positive!

Looking at things logically, if he's getting a Visa it looks like a long term stay. Plus by the time he has come back you won't have seen him for 3 months which personally wouldn't sit well with me. If I'm seeing someone then I want to see them the odd week here and there is no good to either of you.
I would sit him down when he gets back and lay it on the line and see what he comes back with. I hope it works out ;-)
