out of my room by mid day
just received tickets for my hols.
going away for 2 wks-11th june all inclusive....-flight is 21.15 & arrive in turkey on 12/[email protected] not getting to the hotel till six in morning.
our return flight is @04.15 on 26/6.
my dispute is that on my ticket it says that rooms have to be vacated ' midday b4 your early morning flight.
my flight isn`t until 04.15 on the 26/6.
sorry!!!!!!have i missed the point here.?????
considering that we are not in our room until 26/6,and we are turfed out of our room at midday on 25/6.
that only gives us 13 days & nights, when we have payed for 14.
and then if you wish to pay to keep your room on does this mean that i have payed twice for the room.?????
i have e mailed the travel company.
cant phone them..no offence...but cannot understand a word that they are saying.
what are my rights???
shall i see the rep on holiday??.

Ususally hotels will allow you a room to keep your luggage in (along with other peoples) after you have checked out, and maybe use of the lounge/bar etc. Bear in mind, if your flight out is at 415, you are saying it takes 3 hours to get to the airport, and you have to check in 2 hours early, meaning youll be leaving the hotel for the airport at 10 30/11 pm ish, so its only 10/11 hours to amuse yourselves in resort
I also have night flights to and from Turkey whenever I go (going again 24th June). I always find it worth paying for 8 nights instead of just the 7 (in your case it would be 15 nights). By paying for an extra night you can make full use of the last day, use the beach & still go back & shower etc & go for dinner - or have a kip. It's worth it and the hotels in Turkey are not expensive.
Wherever you go weather it be abroad or in a caravan in england you have to be out of your accommodation for between 12 - 2, this is not uncommon and like somebody said above, you just have to grin and bear it, last year i went to malia, we had to be out of our rooms for 12 and the coach wasn't picking us up untill 3.30 in the morning, we had 2 rooms, 2 sharing in each room, so we just kept one room on till about 6 o clock for an extra 5 euros each or something, i would say its definatly worth it.
In terms of rights, i dont think you have any! no body does any more lol!

Most decent hotels/apartment blocks will let you stay on for another 12 hours or so if you explain to them and they are not booked to full capacity.
If they cannot do this, the other thing they sometimes do is offer you the use of a courtesy room, where you can shower and change, and also provide you with somewhere safe to leave your luggage
