I am looking for a guide book for a friend (aged 21) who is going to live in los angeles for a year, are there any specifically aimed at young people?

If you go into amazon.co.uk and choose the "books" sections then search on Los Angeles you get loads of books.

I believe these "Rough Guides" are aimed at the younger end of the market.

I think Time Out also cater for the younger end
