Hotel Delle Nazioni in Florence
2 Answers
Im staying at this hotel next week, its right by the Florence train station, but Im no so sure about the hotel itself. I have already read the mixed reviews on tripadvisor, but does anyone on here have personal experience of visiting it?
BTW since it is located by the station, does this mean that all sights are nearby?

One big tip mind - if you want to avoid the horrendous queues in the galleries and museums, go to a tourist office and buy tickets in advance. It costs no extra, and you enter by a different door to the queue, and at a time of your own choosing.

Florence is magnificent, and I found it very safe. People on the streets at midnight eating gelato. Take normal precautions of course. You can book online for the Uffizi, and they give you a time to arrive, and you just walk right in! Don't be waiting in the Q. Takes up your holiday time. MUST GO to Piazza Michelangelo. Overlooks the city and is splendid. Can walk to everywhere. Most things are towards the River Arno. Buon viaggio!
