Hi,
me and my friend want to go on holiday just us and we are both 17. will we be able to do this or do we have to have someone who is 18 or over with us ?

Flying is ok, but you cant book a hotel room if you are under 18

wat if some one else books it and then we stay there ??
sometimes you have to have the credit card with you that it was paid on... though if youre staying in hostels i think it would be ok.
best idea is to figure out places you might stay and call them up to see if its fine with them. otherwise there should be no reason you cant go

Your problem is that you cannot enter into a legally enforceable contract. That is, the holiday company cannot sue you if you fail to pay. So they are reluctant.

You are probably better off on a DIY holiday than a standard package.

Just checked with my fiance who is a travel agent manager and she says that Thomas Cook will book a holiday for under 18's but the travel agent would need a confirmatiuon letter from a parent. Most other companies say you need to be over 18!
