Hi, can anyone tell me if the polio jab is required to go to Cyprus, as a women in the surgery today went to have one before going to Cyprus, i never have, but should i have done?? Thanks

It's not a legal requirement.

If you had it done as a child it's not necessary at all.

If you didn't it's advisable - but it's also advisable for living in the UK. The risk is little different there.

no jabs required, but bear in mind you may take a trip to egypt from cyprus where as many jabs as possible are recommended !

I had my polio jab at school. You might of had yours if you can remember.
