Edinburgh trip

Hi guys, my partner is taking me away to Edinburgh for a couple of days in May and I have been trying to find a better priced hotel to save a bit of cash for him. We are looking to spend around �60 a night for 2 nights, less would be good. Can anyone suggest anywhere?
Have looked Last Minute and Hotels.com.. found a few but I hate reading reviews as they always seem so negative.
