Moving from UK to US

I am 25, female and British and i have been thinking for quite some time that i would like to move to the US to live.
Just wondered if you could tell me what are the requirements..ie. is it possiblew?. visas etc?...
Is there anyone that has done it??
I am in the early stages of looking into it so if anyone could point me in the right direction that would be wonderfull.

It's exceptionally hard for UK citizens to emigrate to the USA. Unless you've got close family members already living there, or you've got exceptional professional qualifications and skills, you won't get in.
