volunteer funding

My 17 year old daughter has been invited to go to Uganda as a volunteer worker next year.
This is with her local youth club who need to raise the money for flights.
They are doing the usual sponsors, charter market stalls and other ideas.
Is there anywhere we can approach that may offer any financial help, there are 20 kids & adults who wish to go.

i can't answer your question but I can recommend an excellent fund raising idea.
My daughter's Guide group regularly do "bag packs" at local supermarkets on Saturdays. They raise around �1,000 each time they do it.
