this is the timetable from Girona airport
http://www.sagales.com/pubdocs/602_aeroport-gi rona-costa-brava---barcelona-(estacio-nord)-a- partir-del-2008-06-12.pdf
(it also lists the flights that should connect with the bus)
I flew into Reus when staying at Salou which is nearby.

There were coach companies that offered trips to Barcelona from Salou and they said it was about 1 hour 15 minutes to Barcelona.

There is also a train that goes from direct Salou to Barcelona.

But I cannot help you on how to get from airport to the nearest coach or train station.

The airport at Reus is VERY small and most people I guess are on package holidays so are met by a coach.
By the way, did you try the obvious thing and look on the Ryanair website?

Considering they are offering people the chance to fly to these airports did you not think they would give some advice on where the airports were and how to get to the nearest town?

Anyway here is the Reus information

And here is the Girona information

When I went to Barcelona I flew into Reus. There is a bus which is timed to meet the flights and takes you directly into Barcelona. It was about an hour on the bus. The buses are again timed to get you back at the airport for check in for your flight home. You get dropped at a bus station and from there we got the metro to our hotel.

In the menu on the left under 'Nearby Airports', click on the links for Reus and Girona for travel info.
Or fly Easyjet, which gets into El Prat airport on Barcelona's doorstep, with coaches dropping off directly in Placa Catalunya.
