Does anyone know if any company provides balloon flights over Venice? I have been Googling for ages and cannot find anything but if anyone knows of one I'd be grateful to find out.

I think there is an airport near Venice.

No way they would allow a hot air balloon to go over Venice if there are planes taking off and landing nearby.

Quite apart from the above, 'hot air balloons' and 'near the sea' is a recipe for disaster. Never heard of offshore breezes? - means you could end up in the Adriatic. These things don't have motive power, you know.
