Girls! Shopping help needed!!
6 Answers
My eldest is shopping, clothes and fashion, make-up etc mad, and it is her 16th birthday coming up. She doesn't want a party really, so I suggested a mega shopping trip. Where's the best shopping??? Manchester? Birmingham? Bluewater? And which is easiest to find your way around when you've never been before? I think we'll go by train (from S. Wales) maybe stay overnight, if cheap enough. She loves New Look, Top Shop, that kind of stuff...
Credit crunch is kinda ruling New York out, at the mo...

Advice or suggestions welcome!

When you come out of New Street station down a ramp most of the shops are in a 'block if you turn right, then keep going left you can get back to the bottom of the ramp easy enough. It has the Bull Ring and Pallasades centres too.
Or if you can get to Dudley, there is Merry Hill which I like. It is a big shopping centre with loads of shops under one roof New Look, Dorothy Perkins, Topshop, and plenty of other places for both of you. Plenty of cafes dotted too and as it is under one roof with signs all over the place you can't go too far wrong.
Whatever you decide - have a great day out! xxx

the new Westfield in Shepherd's Bush is pretty good and it might be handy as it's close to central London. Plus Harrod's isn't far away if you get carried away.
