Grand Canyon Tours in Vegas
Hi
Booked to go to Vegas in the next few weeks. Just a quick question - is it cheaper to book the Helipcopter tours to the Grand Canyon online before you go or wait until you get there? I seem to remember several people on the streets selling these trips but not sure what prices they would charge
Cheers for the advice

This was a while ago but last time we went we pre-booked over the internet with a local flight company (we booked a plane but they did helicopters as well) and it was much cheaper than booking when you are there. If you want to go to the Skywalk make sure that your trip includes all of the passes necessary for it before you go as it is very expensive when you get there but very cheap if it is included in your trip price. Also, don't be fooled by some of the adverts you'll see on the internet with some operators offering the cheapest flight / trip as they don't include all of the fees and add ons etc. I'm sure you'll have a great time and enjoy yourselves.

When we went we booked through King Airelines

but you can also get very good deals with Heli USA
http://www.heliusa.com/
or with Papillon

These three offer just about every trip you could want in and around Las Vegas.
Hope this helps.

Found this - wonder if it is any good - has anyone here booked with them? $200 for teh South Rim tour sounds pretty good, unless anyone can make any other recommendations
