Thailand
Thinking of going to Thailand over New Year, and would like some ideas of where to go and where to stay. Sort of thing we're looking for (there are 2 adults & 2 kids) - is a quality detached apartment/bungalow (not in a massive resort complex) on a nice beach, away from the drunken partying yobs but close to some good restaurants/bars. Price wise - as cheap as is possbible for a good quality apartment/bungalow. Thanks in advance for any assitance. All advice
appreciated.
appreciated.

The manager's name is Udo Baaz - he's a german fella but his english is good enough. He manages about half a dozen bungalows which are a 5 min cab (or tuk-tuk) journey from Hua Hin town and a short walk from a really nice beach.
The beach has a couple of good restaurants which are cheap, friendly and serve good food.
My family rented 4 of the bungalows in January and we all enjoyed our stay there. Udo is a really helpful guyt and will be happy to advise on the best places to go for days out, he even saved us some money by arranging some for us.
