looking to book a romantic break somewhere with snow preferably in a log cabin or chalet

want to do it on the cheap

i cannot fly so would like to go by eurostar and other trains

any ideas

You could go to Norway by ship (www.dfdsseaways.co.uk), see www.visitnorway.com for information on Norway.

You could also go to the Alps in France, Italy, or Switzerland. You could go by Eurostar (which is not usually that cheap) or by Eurolines busses.

You could also go to the Pyrenees.

A youth hostel would be one way to do it on the cheap.
