need cheap flight
4 Answers
i have found a perfect hotel for my trip to amsterdam and i am now just stuck on finding a really cheap flight. I am looking to leave from any London airport and i want to depart on 23rd february and arrive back on 26th february. i am looking to arrive in amsterdam at any time from 9am-4pm and looking to come back from amsterdam any time from 11am - 4pm. the cheapest i could find was £175.20 with british airways for 2 people. i am looking for 1 suitcase each to be included and also for travel insurance to be included so i have nothing to pay at the airport. Would really appreciate any help and thanks for everyone who helped with my last post.

Whenever I have booked a hotel & flight as separate transactions, I have always checked that both are available (at a price I am willing to pay) before booking the first of them. You would be unlucky to find the other no longer available within 5 minutes or so.
If you are really sensible, you will check that there is a cheap alternative (to the item booked last), to avoid finding yourself in your current position.
You have no sympathy from me.

Easyjet's fare using your criteria would be £171-46 (from Luton), rising to £179-46 if you elect to pay by credit card. The only cheaper fare from London to the Netherlands is by Ryanair to Eindhoven (£135-30), but you'd then have a EUR 17.00 train fare to find (each, each way, journey 1hr20mn) so probably isn't worth the inconvenience.
