When is the US spring break 2011?

Hi, we're looking to go to Orlando in March 2011 but don't want to go at a busy time. Does anyone know when the spring break is in the USA, is it a set date or does it vary from state to state?

it varies; but mid-March by the look of it. You might be safest in the first or last weeks. American ABers may be able to give you a better idea.

As jno states, the timing is more of a season than a set date. Generally it centers on Easter, but different Universities close for about a week at different times. As you can see from the attached link, March 8-12 is the most popular, but other dates apply as well...
