how old do you have to be to book a holiday?

i want to book a holiday for me and my boyfriend. i will be 16 when i would like to go away and my boyfriend will be 18. am i still allowed to book in advance? will i need a parent to book for me?

I think you need a parent if you book it in a travel agent but I booked a holiday on lastminute.com when i was 16 and all you need is a debit card. So go on the internet (better deals too)
