Things to do in Crewe?

I'm in Crewe tomorrow, after navigating my GF to a course.

So I'm in Crewe from 10 til 3.30. Is there anything anyone can suggest to fill my time. I see the heritage centre is shut.

I'll be on foot by the way, so anything out of the centre is no good.

Crewe is not the arse end of the world. That distinction belongs to Stoke-on-Trent. Crewe is merely the lower intestine.

Crewe Indoor Market is open every dayfrom Monday to Saturday but Friday is one of the three days when the outdoor section is also open.

It might be worth hoping on a bus to Nantwich. Service 84 leaves from Stand 12 of Crewe Bus Station every 15 minutes (at 00, 15, 30 and 45 minutes past each hour). The journey time is 20 minutes. There you'll find the museum open:
