If I was given the choice in the 'slightly odd weather' department I would prefer snow as it looks pretty, the kids love it and they might get a day off school. Also, the wind is blowing down the chimney and making a racket.
If it's windy where you are, Sherrardk, you should tell the BBC. They think that you've just got a slight (13mph) breeze!

I have no idea how windy it is, it's just very windy compared to usual. Unfortunately, it's playing havoc with the woodburner thing, it's blazing but doesn't seem able to chuck out much heat (not that it is cold).
