The Daily Express is spreading more doom and gloom in today's headline - "48 hours of snow hell on way". Oh yeah? They seem to be obsessed with giving out dire weather warnings. I'll believe it when I see it.

Funny you should say that, just before I dropped off this morning [about 3am]
I thought I heard crunchy footsteps walking to a car. But when I woke this morning there was no snow. God knows what I think I heard. I'm in Essex and it's overcast and cold.
