Ice Alert !

I bought my lovely bright red Fiesta brand new on May 1st this year, and this evening is the first time the orange Ice Alert is showing on the dashboard
( +4 degrees ) AND the gritters are out tonight !

Winter is finally upon us !

Just had a look on MSN weather and that says 1 degree tonight, so why does the weather forecast after the local news say one thing and the computer say something else. I think I'll just stick to checking my weather cone !.

It's a balmy 7 degrees here, and soaring up to 14 tomorrow...Not much snow left around here.

Beautiful here at the moment, but forecast to break tomorrow (and the sky looks like it). The storks were flying south in their thousands right over our heads all last week (it's a privilege to see that sight) and they are an infallible sign that Winter is imminent.
