I Heard The Weather Report/forecast This Morning...

and they couldn't have been more wrong.
Rain in all areas, they said with possible bright intervals in the south.
Not sure about anywhere else but I experienced a lovely warm sunny day with just a gentle breeze.

In N/Kent, we've had a mostly sunny day with a sudden very heavy storm about 17:00

A couple of days ago we were told that we could expect cloud today. Yesterday they changed their minds and said we could expect sun all day. It was sunny this morning and rained this afternoon. That was the BBC - they always get it wrong.

Me too, was supposed to rain on and off but in Dorset it has been the most stunning spring day, sunshine all the way with that lovely crystal clear light quality you only get at this time of year. Driving home from work my car said it was 16.5

I was in London all day and it was positively summery. But when I arrived home in Norfolk the garden was drenched and the electric off as there'd been a storm.

So where do the weather channel get their forecasts from? They are much more accurate than the BBC

237SJ...I don't know (I don't watch The Weather Channel) but, if their forecasts are so different from those broadcast by the Beeb, they must come from one of the many other forecasting organisations.

If you like accurate weather forecasts, that are particular to where you live use AccuWeather. I have it on my pc and mobile and let the site track me. It gives you a facility that predicts the next hour's weather and gives a long range forecast that is quite uncanny.

I have it on my mobile phone, it really is accurate. You can zoom in to your local area. It even tells you how long in minutes before rain will start in your area or how long until it stops. That is accurate as well!
