After reading the scare stories in the press whilst at the other side of the Pond this morning, I expected chaos when I got back to the UK. I came home to half an inch of snow on my windscreen and even that was melting.

It is bluddy freezing here and clear skies. We are forecast gales tomorrow but I'm disappointed with my severe weather right now.
I do so enjoy when Mother Nature puts us in our place.

We must be very lucky in my bit of the SW. People are freezing in Plymouth, South Wales, and London and Essex are expected to get it hard.

My son is near London and he says it's "raining a bit". crazy diversity of weather for a very small country

There's something very humbling when Mother Nature kicks off big time. I've been in a few spectacular displays of her power around the World in my life.
