Had A Wonderful Night Out!
7 Answers
Grandson is 22 today. All family including daughter, SIL, 4 granddaughters and grandson went out for a Mexican meal in Monmouth. Not been before but it was fantastic. So much food. For starters we had a large assortment of different dishes in the middle of the table, in fact waiter told us not to order so much as we had a lot.
Then we all had a different main with degrees of hotness around the table. I had paella, so much I brought 3/4 of it home but I did have sticky toffee pudding to die for as well. Four of us had desserts. 5 of us had foggy bags to take home. At least two rounds of drinks and tequila shots for some. Such good value £258. Less than £30 a head. Lovely place and great staff. We will definitely be going back there.

OH had his stitches out ok. He has had a letter giving him 3 appointments over next six weeks with different stages of the big switch on. So much looking forward to it from both our sides. It is so frustrating for us both. He is so deaf it takes me at least four attempts to get him to know I'm speaking to him.
Thanks for asking Chou.

At least you have transport for now which is good. OH must be getting excited about the future, very understandable. The same goes for you too. I have very much reduced hearing and it does change one's life, even with hearing aids. My social life has been mislaid, so it feels :)
Such a shame things have been delayed for OH through the pandemic but it has been the same for so many, my heart goes out to all who have been affected. Today they reported we have the longest ever NHS waiting lists. Hardly surprising.
I am off to order foggy bags now on Amazon, I expect they are recyclable ;) Have a good night's rest.
