Climate Change Robs Family Of Life...

Well I don't know about everyone who is getting snow or ice this morning but it has been raining here since yesterday evening and still tipping it down! I was talking to my MIL about this the other day and we were trying to remember when we last had what I call proper snow, in other words more than a cm or two! And it must have been years ago! Literally years. Now we get 2 cm forecast and we get a weather warning lol.
Lots of online work to do today, and if I could avoid going out in this I would, but unfortunately need P.O for a start.Hopefully by the time I need to go out the rain will have eased...
Hoping that you all have a good day whatever you end up doing!

WE dont have to go anywhere today thankfully but I will worry about older son getting back from his trip tomorrow. The lanes are usually the last to be treated and it can be a nightmare. It looks pretty though.
Hope you manage to get out and about anyone that has to. Me, I am staying in
Still drizzling here Impatiens - very soggy indeed!
Rosetta - I think that staying in sounds like a VERY good idea! I don't even mind going out in the cold too much, but I loathe going out in the rain. Yesterday I had to drop a few orders to customers and couldn't do it till gone 4pm, so not only was it still raining, but it was dark! And anyone who knows me knows that I get very stressed when I can't find the house numbers easily whilst trying to park lol. I mean, when you know the road, but now where in the road the house you need is, and you can't see 95% of door numbers from the road, so you have to just park and walk to try and find it.....
Morning all. I have decided I am officially "old", I cannot get excited about the snow as I used to. We had lots of rain yesterday and it snowed overnight. It is not sticking on the roads and pavements but it is covering grass, gardens and roofs. Fortunately I don't have to go out until Friday when I am due to have my Covid jab, so will stay warm inside until then.
Does anyone know how Pastafreak got on with her boiler, especially now the cold is here? At 14 years old she may be better investing in a new one , dependent on repairs are going to cost.
Calda...I had a good gas engineer recommended...but couldn't get through all yesterday morning. Still no joy...I suspect many people have gone into panic mode with the weather getting colder. I can manage a few days...I'm not going anywhere today. Hopefully will get it sorted in a few days.
Otherwise...no snow, just wet and windy here. As usual. Stay safe all who do have the white stuff. 🌬❄️
