Global Warming
What a lot of phooey. This weather we`re having is normal for this time of year. I`m 73 and can remember it being the same as this when I were a wee buck, so relax and have a nice cup of tea.

it is'nt the global warming thats the problem, but the rate of change, we've had it for ever, but since the industrial revolution its took off at a pace.
it took millions of years for the carbon to build up in fossil fuels, and we're releasing it in a hundred as carbon dioxide, firstly coal then oil. more recently its cfc s and hcfc s from fridges, carbon monoxide from cars.
the oceans and rainforests can t cope anymore to clean our atmosphere. look what s happening to the ice caps, draughts, floods.
keep your head buried in the sand ! unless people change their lifestyles, things will only get worse.

Apparently, if the polar ice-cap melted global sea levels would rise by about 34 feet. If temperatures rose by 6 degrees Celsius from current levels, it would only be possible to grow crops to feed one fifth of the world�s population.
Looking on the bright side, if we�d been heading for another Ice Age instead (which will happen sooner or later), that would be even worse. They�d blame that on something, too.
I agree that it�s just an excuse for stealth taxes! What happens in the UK is totally insignificant compared to what China is chucking out, anyway.
