would like to do one on saturday has anyone heard what the weather will be like? tried bbc weather but it only goes up to friday at the moment, and i need to get bits and pieces organised tia

Any forecast more than a certain number of days ahead is unlikely to be correct. By tomorrow you will have whatever your local area BBC forecast is predicting for Saturday.

It can be mathematically proved (using chaos theory) that forecasters will never be able accurately predict weather for more than a few days ahead. However it's possible to look at general trends, which is what longer term forecasts try to do.

This site offers 10 day forecasts. (I wouldn't trust their forecasts very far into the future but they can give you a rough idea of what the weather might be like):

This is the relevant part of the UK outlook from the Met Office website:
"The weather is likely to remain unsettled throughout the Easter weekend, with a mixture of sunny spells and blustery showers expected. There is also a risk of snow falling, mainly over northern hills but possibly elsewhere at times. Some drier and brighter periods are also likely, mainly toward the end of the Easter weekend and into the start of the following week".

In other words it's going to be rainy, sunny, cloudy, cold & windy and it might snow -a bit (that seems to have covered all the bases & sounds about right for the Easter holidays)

I am surprised nobody has asked you the obvious question fruitsalad.

At no point have you said where abouts the car boot sale will be.

Makes a big difference depending whether you are in the Channel Islands or Shetland.
