Tony, you're right. I went to a service in an Anglican church only last week - and they were collecting money for refugees. I didn't add to the coffers.

The churches I know of are trying their best to help our own homeless with things like food and clothing collections. Personally I would prefer that they stuck to that - but there are such things as orphanages for albino children in Africa (they have no chance otherwise) etc., which also demand aid.

Vicarages are usually quite big aren't they, I wonder how many vicars / bishops are taking refugee's in.
