The V&A were right in my opinion in rejecting her clothes. After seeing their Alexander McQueen, Bowie and Westwood shows, a Thatcher show would seem by limited (very few 'iconic' items).
I`m not surprised that the V&A don`t want them as they are a cultural museum. I can`t say that I think any of Margaret Thatcher`s outfits were particularly iconic. I`m surprised they were even offered to a museum. Maybe her family should just do what the rest of us do when a loved one dies - keep one or two mementoes and give the rest to the charity shop. Unless they desperately need the money of course
