as usual there was disquiet in those who dont bother to read a post before becoming disquieted, upset and ready to spray gun anyone.

there was no disrespect to the fallen - altho I note at the time ( 1914 ) they ( tommies/conscripts ) were described as Lions led by Donkeys - but as they say - history is rewritten by every generation. Oh the point is that 'Lions led by Donkeys ' is not a very respectful phrase to describe officers ( both dead and alive ). Now in Baldrics time, officers were referred to as 'Ruperts' which screams respect in every letter

I also note that the cameras were on Corbyn as God Save the Queen was sung at the ceremony and yes he didnt seem to know the words and didnt have the presence of mind to 'la' it. However I shouldnt say that as I know now it is disrespectful to the fallen [ in the somewhat twisted logic of the disquieted ]
