I was referring to Stuey, who calls his drink wobbly pops
Question Author
What made me ask that is that there is a thread entitled Stew!!!
I'm still around, and so are the wobbly-pops. Just don't post as often as I used to...No particular reason though. Cheers.
Thanks Jackdaw.
Stuey...how many feet of snow do you have ?
Nothing yet, Mikey It's quite mild for this time of the year: 10 degrees. But it's lurking in the background waiting to be unleashed just like the blizzards of yesteryear funneling down Mumbles Road close to Hudson's Bay:)
About the same here....today is balmy here down in the SW, no heating needed, thank goodness, as someone in today clearing the mater's back garden area managed to yank the oil pipe up and break it. His plumber friend is here at the moment fixing it so we can get the Aga back on, not only roasting but hot water comes off it.....
Stuey...you made me laugh last winter, when I questioned how on earth do you manage in the depths of winter, putting the bins out, and you answered that Mrs Stuey did it !
o Heavens Andie keep up

Stoo - the Canadian watch maker - perhaps he is snowed in
I do suppose, Petah, that Canadian watch maker sounds better than Canadian horologist:)
eek

Canuck horologist - yeah sorry

yeah I met one once - a work colleague who told me he was a master of the joyful society of horologists - a select society where membership was thro making and exhibiting a watch the size of a pin head

and jesus tick tock he knew a jesus lot about clocks of all sizes

he also took my watch apart ( Rolex) using only a knife, his napkin and his teeth ( real ones ) and rebuilt is as one of those whistling birds you see on antiques road show

sorry I didnt realise you were one of those ....
