I have just been called by a foreign sounding chap, from 02031 988108, who was pretending to be from the "Microsoft Technical Dept"

I told him that, no he wasn't...he was just a scamming ****, and to **** off.

Does anybody think I was being too harsh ?

I don't get any unwanted calls now as I have a call blocker phone. I miss the Microsoft ones. They used to be so much fun.

I can do a very good Bangladesh !
I had one after Windows..... "Oh I am delighted to hear that, we have plenty of Windows here and a lot of problems in opening and shutting them. I really am pleased - there are 56 of them that need cleaning. Should we say £4 an hour and a jugged rabbit and half of scrumpy cider for lunch? By the way, we brew our cider the old-fashioned way with a rat in the mix."
It's not just OFCOM who are ineffective - I can think of any of these so-called watchdogs who not a disappointment.
// A year or so ago I had one call me back to say i should not swear at her !!//

I have had two say 'you are the rudest man I have ever met'

and one:
you are wasting my time...
excuse me - did I ring you or did you ring me ?
I rang you
then surely you are the one wasting my time ....
