A 'Friend' once advised me to leave my husband - (which I didn't) then husband said she'd made a pass at him lol!

Similar to Retrochic, a friend advised me to leave a boyfriend. I did - though, not just because of her advice - and yes she went out with him afterwards.

Also, when I became pregnant, all my friends advised me to have an abortion. I didn't, thankfully. I'm enormously proud of my son.
